Neutral Atom

A neutral atom quantum computer utilizes the internal energy levels of neutral atoms of specific elements (e.g. cesium) as qubits in the process of quantum computation. Neutral atom quantum computers use optical tweezers for control, atomic high-energy Rydberg states for qubit interaction, and fluorescence detection for readout and measurement. Neutral atoms do not require excessive cryogenics once they are cooled and exhibit very high durations of coherence, making them an ideal modality for practical quantum computers.
