Sqywire is an innovative Quantum Radio Frequency (QRF) receiver system leveraging Rydberg (excited) atomic states to detect RF signals—without traditional antennas or solid-state analog receivers.

How Sqywire Works

Sqywire replaces conventional RF front ends with a three-step quantum sensing process:

  • Laser Excitation: Excites atoms to Rydberg states.
  • RF Interaction: RF field perturbs atomic energy levels.
  • Optical Detection: Changes in probe beam detected, converting RF to optical domain.

This is similar to RF photonics, but with no antenna—enabling a smaller aperture and broader operational range.
