Sqywire is an innovative Quantum Radio Frequency (QRF) receiver system leveraging Rydberg (excited) atomic states to detect RF signals—without traditional antennas or solid-state analog receivers.
The result: ultra-broadband reception, compact deployment, and resilience in challenging environments.



How Sqywire Works
Sqywire replaces conventional RF front ends with a three-step quantum sensing process:
- Laser Excitation: Excites atoms to Rydberg states.
- RF Interaction: RF field perturbs atomic energy levels.
- Optical Detection: Changes in probe beam detected, converting RF to optical domain.
This is similar to RF photonics, but with no antenna—enabling a smaller aperture and broader operational range.
